CarScorer is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the Service.
CarScorer is a used vehicle evaluation tool that generates scores based on publicly available data (NHTSA recall and complaint data), user-entered vehicle information, and configurable scoring formulas. The Service is provided for informational purposes only.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CARSCORER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT SCORES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Vehicle scores are estimates only. They do not account for the specific condition of any individual vehicle, undisclosed damage, fraudulent odometer readings, or any factor not captured in the data you enter. Always obtain a pre-purchase mechanical inspection from a qualified independent mechanic before purchasing any used vehicle.
CARSCORER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSSES FROM VEHICLE PURCHASES MADE IN RELIANCE ON CARSCORER SCORES.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at help@carscorer.com.
Vehicle information you enter is stored in your account and is never publicly shared or attributed to you. See our Privacy Policy for complete data handling details.
Anonymized pricing data you contribute may be retained and used to improve market comparison features. This data contains no personal information.
CarScorer participates in affiliate marketing programs through Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate). We currently earn commission from partners including myAutoLoan (auto financing), Oedro (accessories and exterior parts), KSP Performance (suspension and performance parts), and Carla (car rental). When you click one of these affiliate links and complete a qualifying action, CarScorer may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Links to used-car marketplaces such as CarGurus, AutoTrader, Cars.com, and Edmunds are provided for your convenience to help you find listings; these are not currently commissioned affiliate links. No affiliate relationship, current or future, influences a vehicle's score, which platforms are shown, or how they are ordered.
NHTSA recall and complaint data is sourced from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration public APIs. CarScorer makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Always verify recall status directly at nhtsa.gov.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and permanent. CarScorer reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
